Description
ROBOTIZED WELDING STATION FANUC ARC MATE 100IC
The FANUC Arc Mate 100iC robotic welding station , built in 2014, allows you to achieve excellent precision, the highest quality of welds and repeatability of ± 0.08 mm when welding details of even the most complex shapes. In order to significantly accelerate the production process, the robotic welding station was equipped with not one but two Arc Mate 100iC robots that perform simultaneous machining on a 3-axis positioner with a load capacity of 450 kg. The FANUC
robotic welding system includes : - robot arm: FANUC Arc Mate 100iC (2 pcs.) - controller: FANUC SYSTEM R-30iB - 3-axis positioner: PEHh-3-450
- welding source: LINCOLN ELECTRIC Power Wave S350 (2 pcs.)
- liquid-cooled welding torch: ABICOR BINZEL ABIROB W500 (2 pcs.)
- welding torch cleaning station: ABICOR BINZEL BRS-CC
- light curtains
- welding wire feeder: LINCOLN ELECTRIC 4R100 (2 pcs.)
- cassette for a spool of welding wire with a fixing system (2 pcs.)
- cooler: LINCOLN ELECTRIC COOLARC-50 (2 pcs.)
- control panel
- control cabinet
- mounting accessories (2 pcs.)
- strain relief hanger and cable strain relief (2 sets)
- platform (2 pcs.)
- covers with a service door and a lock with a safety switch
The FANUC Arc Mate 100iC welding robot is distinguished by an extremely lightweight design, a durable arm, as well as additional functions such as Touch Sensing (detection of workpiece movements) and Through Arc Seam Tracking (weld tracking). Mechanical brakes and reliable FANUC Beta iS 8/3000 servomotors are used on all 6 axes of the machine to guarantee the user excellent dynamics combined with process reliability.
To achieve excellent weld quality in automated welding, the dynamic and accurate feeding of the welding wire with very low drag is very much needed. For this purpose, a feeder was attached to the body of the robotLINCOLN ELECTRIC 4R100 with a wire spool cassette, guaranteeing uninterrupted processing of high quality workmanship. The welding torch can be cleaned anywhere in the program using the ABICOR BINZEL BRS-CC cleaning station , which injects a special non-stick substance into its body.
